Slicer type cucumber, suitable for different seasons with high tolerance to powdery mildew. Mid-early maturity, with very good fruit set in difficult conditions

Medium-early cycle. Medium vigorous plant with good fruit-setting and uniform fruit production. Suited for greenhouse and open field cultivation in all cycle. Round fruit with medium-big size. Thick skin with pale green colour and darker stripes. Red pulp. High sugar level.  

Probably the best early variety for fresh market and home garden use. Kelvedon is grown in many countries and will respond to higher temperatures during the growing season, producing marketable pods from 50 days.
